Colin Scagliati began his career at Arq in 2004 as an associate. While his early responsibilities included folding towels and assisting stylists, Colin dedicated himself to the pursuit of education. Training with internationally renowned stylists such as Dennis Gebhart and Chris Baran, Colin has cultivated his skills in precision and contemporary cutting and coloring techniques.

Colin’s ambition and hard work payed off when he become share holder of Arq Salon Westshore in 2010, making him a true representative of the company’s objective to facilitate the professional growth, development and opportunity for it’s team members.

While Colin has challenged himself professionally in such industry competitions as the “Contessa’s” (the Academy Awards of Canadian Hairdressing) and the A.b.a’s (live styling competitions), he discovered his love for creative direction and photo styling. With countless photo shoots in his constantly growing portfolio, Colin’s role as creative director and stylist has produced a variety of both commercial and editorial work.

With his enthusiasm for advancing his personal education and love of photo shoots, Colin hopes to pursue a new goal to become an educator to others.
